Vintage Pencil Holder / Case - Novelty - Giant size shaped like large Pencil Tube - Working Screw Top
This listing is for a vintage pencil holder or case. Shaped like a huge pencil, looks to be made of wooden tube with a painted (?) marbleized design. To open the case, you unscrew the metal top. There is a metal ring on the case base. This is quite an interesting piece and would make a rather unique desk top ornament.
The pencil holder is 11-1/4 inches long. I cannot find any maker's mark. Weight is 84 grams.
This vintage pencil holder is in good vintage condition - no repairs no holes and the screw top works well. However the there appears to be a crack in the wood; the top is dented and scratched but works well and holds fairly tightly.
