Vintage Ceramic Tile - United States Pavilion Expo 67 - Montreal Canada - USA Geodesic Dome
This vintage tile features an illustration of the United States pavilion at the 1967 world's fair, Expo 67 in Montreal, Canada. The pavilion was a huge geodesic dome. The dome is centered on the tile with flags waving beside it. The color is a red-orange and gold. The lettering states, "Montreal Canada ...U.S.A. expo 67". There are single birds in each corner. On the reverse there is a cork backing, with a hanger loop. Neat, useful souvenir of a great world's fair!
The tile is 6 inches by 6 inches.
This tile is in very good condition - however the cork backing is deteriorating around the edges and is stained. Beautiful souvenir of Expo 67.
