Raised Star Brooch / Shawl Pin - Circle - Antiqued Brass Finish - C Clasp - Tribal / Rustic Effect
This circular brooch has an antiqued brass finish over a somewhat heavy metal. It has a central raised 5-point star with raised dots between the points. Around the outer edge is an ornate design, which put me in the mind of an Aztec calendar or a soldier's shield. There is a "c" clasp which works well. This solid brooch would make a lovely shawl pin (to go through heavier fabrics).
The brooch is 1-3/4 inches across the top. There is no makers mark that I can find.
Condition: This brooch is in good usable condition. There is some wear to the finish of the brooch, which gives it a vintage look. The clasp works well.
